So yesterday (30th September) I turned 19. I don't usually look forward to birthdays most years, but this year I was REALLY excited, and with good cause, because it turned out to be the best birthday I have had yet.
I spent all day, from waking up until about 4pm, lounging around the house in my PJs with my family and opening cards. Then at about 5:30pm, my three ladies rocked up, we blew out my candles, and popped open our first bottle of pink champagne :-)
After opening my adorable presents (gorgeous Lush bath bombs, Disney plushies and a Minnie figurine, jewellery, new Chanel perfume, etc), I packed my bag, and we set off for Worcester!
We checked in to the room I had booked at the local Travelodge, covered the room in makeup, hair extensions, cigarettes, clothes and alcohol. We popped open our second bottle, and sat enjoying the view of Worcester city at night.
After many outfit changes, makeup disasters and tripping over in shoes, we finished the last bottle of champagne and headed off into town to the local Wetherspoons to meet my other friends.
We met our lads, bought cocktail pitchers (one each, obviously), and I had free drinks off strangers because I was wearing a birthday girl badge. SCORE. After a few drinks, we all headed off to the nightclub to meet the last two to join our party.
Unfortunately, this is where my memory is beginning to fade (I don't think I've ever been so drunk in my entire life. Damn champagne). I do remember, though, having the best night I've probably had in my 19 years, with my favourite people. I couldn't have asked for a better night.
